The system of communications: stairs, ramps, elevators Modular coordination, systems, variability, flexibility Partition walls, systems and details Suspended ceiling, structures, forms Structural openings, development and construction Windows, types, composition, mounting Doors, types, composition, mounting, doorstep Shades (different types of shades, use, details) Flooring, types, characteristics, laying Systems of vertical communications – stairs, concept, forms of stairs, construction, cladding, handrails, ramps, elevators External design (drainage, paving, lighting) Eaves, pergolas, sheds, winter gardens

Objectives and competences
Obtaining basic technical knowledge about particular building elements and their joining into structural modules from the aspects of functionality, structural solutions, design variations, use of various materials Technical understanding of economical use, logical use of materials in execution of particular building modules Design and drafting of detailed plans for execution of basic building elements and modules 
Intended learning outcomes - knowledge and understanding
technical knowledge and understanding of execution of particular building elements and modules understanding the basic principles of detail execution from the technical and design viewpoint case study: simple project solution of a detail  
Intended learning outcomes - transferable/key skills and other attributes
knowledge and understanding of basic structural and architectural characteristics of building elements and their joining into structural systems capability of basic expression in detailed technical drawing 
Learning and teaching methods
Lectures are complemented with tutorials also intended for solving particular practical problems and enriched with fieldwork and professional excursion.
