Objectives and competences
The goal of the course is to give the necessary skills and knowledge of what is involved in the development of global business. The course examines factors of success in developing new global enterprise from the point of view of an entrepreneur, and points out the crucial characteristics of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship culture in different parts of the world. Students are acquainted with the successful and unsuccessful entrepreneurship cases in several countries, evaluation of business opportunities. Students learn about development of global business plans and entering global markets. The course requires active work of students and is particularly designed for those students, who plan to be actively engaged in entrepreneurship and want to seek business opportunities in international environment.
